Since 1995, the SEF has granted over $375,000 in funding to benefit the students of Stonington Public Schools in all areas of learning. We are proud of the positive impact the Stonington Education Fund has in support of public education in our community.

2026 Blue monday concerts

The Blue Monday 2026 Concert Series Schedule will be:

July 6- Ward Hayden & The Outliers

July 13- Loaded Wagon

July 20- Sugar Ray & The Bluetones

July 27- Sugar

Rain date is August 3

All shows are 6:00-8:00pm at Mystic River Park!

Thank you for supporting the wonderful Blue Monday concert program. The money raised supports music education in our public schools and supports the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center.

Awarded grants

In Fall 2025, SEF awarded $17,913 to support student education in Stonington. This brings the total awarded since 2020 to $70,000. 

A sample of Fall 2025 grants includes funding to:

  • create a new Makerspace at West Vine Street School

  • develop and purchase supplies for a new Fiber Arts course at Stonington High School

  • purchase new "loose parts" for the innovative Play Your Way program at Deans Mill Elementary

  • create a new STEM Lab at Stonington Middle School
